When creating this painting, I wanted to visually reflect the essence of this mantra which is, in short, a list of divine qualities. This was written by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Sikhs 10th Guru who was not only a warrior but also a poet.
I painted this piece as a list, the same way it would be spoken. One quality at a time. Each with its own stance, each separate yet combined into one formation of describing the creator.
This mantra is from Jaap Sahib, a Sikhs morning prayer, and continual recitation can shift your mental thoughts and align them with the qualities of the divine, in order to internalise and become.
Having mental blocks can sometimes pollute our thinking patterns, meditating on this can help clear such blocks and remembering the potential within to dissolve current challenges.
